What is a CSA?

CSA is a program of mutual commitment between a farm and a community of supporters. It links people directly with their source of food, providing them with the freshest, most sustainably produced food. It gives farmers a source of income at their time of highest expense (early spring). Shareholders purchase a share in the season's harvest and receive a weekly or biweekly box of organic, freshly harvested local food.

Benefits of CSA Membership
  • Connect with the people who grow your food.
  • Help ensure that sustainable, local organic farms can continue to op-erate in your region.
  • Keep pesticides, herbicides geneti-cally modified crops, and synthetic fertilizers off your plate and out of the environment.
  • Have the opportunity to visit the farm and participate in farm activities.
  • Receive a 10% discount at the Yarrow Ecovillage farm's market stands for items that you would like to purchase in larger quantities.
  • Receive a farm e-newsletter, full of news, recipes and gardening tips.
  • Eat delicious, healthy food!
