Summer sun and winter rains provide ideal growing conditions and abundant water for the on-site
wells. The fertile upper Fraser Valley will support the growth of many varieties of fruit,
vegetables and herbs on the ten-hectare (25-acre) property.
The site has buildings dating from the 1930's. These can be retrofitted and infilled with new green
buildings to provide residences, commercial space, a learning centre, and cottage industries. The
goal is to create a healthy diverse and sustainable community.
